I wanna put THIS to an end.

I have been struggling over my weight matter since I was 12. You see I wasn't like Matt Lewis AKA Neville Longbottom whose puberty or adolescence changed for the better - well, in terms of PHYSICAL.

See Nevillution? I was getting frustrated each and every day that passed, but still, I can't find the solutions to this half of my life struggle. I wanted to cry when I saw this...

I'm getting bigger and bigger. Though boyfran's slowly gaining weight and convincing me that the top I wore was the only reason why everyone's telling I'm getting BIGGER, I'm dying with so much frustrations about MY weight. I SHALL PUT THIS TO AN END.

I am now convinced to get back into sports. I will play Badminton, cycling and jog every weekends with boyfran, of course. I only have to eat rice during breakfast so I will have the energy I need every day because it was only recently realized that WORK is ALWAYS tiring at the end of the day. I can eat more, like 5 times a day but only small amounts. I have to do research on which food that can sustain my energy but at the same time don't allow my body with too much calories and fats needed. I shall eat more of fruits and vegetables because I want to look younger HEHEHEHE. Believe me, a lot of my friends were always shock when they learn my real age. Hello baby face! Echos!

I just re-blogged this from my tumblr:

  1. Drink plenty of water.
  2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
  3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
  4. Live with the 3 E’s - Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy
  5. Play more games.
  6. Read more books than you did in 2010.
  7. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
  8. Sleep for 7 hours.
  9. Take a 10-30 minutes walk daily. And while you walk, smile.

Personality:
  1. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
  2. Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
  3. Don’t over do. Keep your limits.
  4. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
  5. Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip.
  6. Dream more while you are awake.
  7. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
  8. Forget issues of the past. Don’t remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
  9. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don’t hate others.
  10. Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.
  11. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
  12. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
  13. Smile and laugh more.
  14. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Society:
  1. Call your family often.
  2. Each day give something good to others.
  3. Forgive everyone for everything.
  4. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.
  5. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
  6. What other people think of you is none of your business.
  7. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

Life:
  1. Do the right thing!
  2. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.
  3. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
  4.   No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
  5. The best is yet to come.
  6. Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy.

I know it'll help me. :)

I was about to cry while writing this but I am so thaaaankkkkkffffuulllll with RJ. (YES, I mean it.) Amazingly, he always pushes me to be optimistic, learn, and love myself more. I am so happy having this kind of relationship with him - we can be friends and more than friends at the same time. Hehehe! CHEESYYYY.

BTW, I had a hearty breakfast this morning, egg (sunny side up) and half cup of rice. I brought 10 pcs. of Chips Ahoy, 5 pcs. each for my snacks for 10am and 3 pm. Here's my lunch:

Blaan Children situation

I went to Mindanao last week. I volunteered to be a delegate for the ALAYON: Peace and Solidarity Mission initiated by Center for Lumad Advocacy and Services, Inc (CLANS) held last August 9-15, 2011. Though, it is an office activity, it is probably one of the best community integration experiences I've had. Lei and Eego, my office mates, were with me to be a part of the Fact finding mission regarding the intervention of the 73rd Infantry Battalion of the Armed forces of the Philippines. It was kind of disturbing that NGOs like CLANS which provides services to the Blaan children and community at Sitio Dlumay, Baranggay Upper Suyan, Malapatan, Saranggani  provincewere being harassed by the government forces. What's wrong in providing services such as portable water system, construction of the Blaan Literacy School and Learning Center (BLSLC), and the setting up of Micro-Hydro Power-plant for electricity?

Since the military attacks happened last November 2010, all the projects of CLANS were stopped. The Blaan children even the elders who were the students of the school cannot continue studying and move up to another level. The whole community of Sitio Dlumay as well as the other sitios experienced and are still experiences harassments and other human rights violations.

Thus, ALAYON was organized to expose the situation of the Blaan community, to further investigate the violations of the military, provide Psychosocial therapy for the children, provide services such as medical and dental check up, relief operations and to continue the projects like the blessing of the Micro-Hydro Power-plant, moving up/graduation of the students of the BLSLC. It also aimed to gather networks, organizations from the school, church, community and other advocates to strengthen the support to fight for the rights of the Blaan children and community.

Almost 200 delegates trekked up to the Lunkan Mountain Range since Sitio Dlumay was located on the rear side. It took us 8 hours to reach the Blaan community. I will post only some of our pictures since we weren't allowed to post pictures of the Blaan children and elders for their security.

You can check out the following links which share stories and position about the Blaan situation and ALAYON:

Try Photocabine

Recently, I discovered Photocabine. Here are some pictures while trying it out. :)

Good times with good friends.

I'm too lazy to blog since last last week. Here are the things or stuff I've been up to lately. So sorry for writing it in bullets.

  • Ended the month of July with few beers.
    • RJ and I finally got the chance to spend time with JM. It's almost 4 months since we last saw him. We went to Blue Knight at Brickroad, located at the back of Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall.
Wow! "Balikbayan!" LOL-ing about the maong jacket he wore.

Eli

Boyfran asked to take a shot of him "looking drunk". Where on earth he got that dumb thing? Echos!

Beauty and the Beast! Hahaha! This is my blog. :)

  • It's my sistah Riza's birthday on the 26th, but she opted to celebrate it last 30th. Hello, beers are best during weekends. She rent a private resort in Antipolo. I took some pictures.

Chalk and Pedro. Stolen shot. HAHA.

Jeff and Jynell

Boyfran drinking.

Bunso (AKA Balbas) in stuck up mode.

WENGWENG! Cheers1

The beautiful sistah/birthday girl <3

  • Dates with boyfran. I'll be leaving this August 9 for our Saranggani trip. chessy as it may sounds, but he says he'll miss me so much, that's why we're maximizing the days before I leave.

Jaw dropping it really is.

I posted this picture in my tumblr, and someone reblogged it with a caption: "An Asian contemplating a burger." HAHAHA. I loved the "Asian" thing. It just proves that I have a Chinese part in my blood. LOL.

That's for now. I promise to keep my blog updated. *cross fingers* :)
